Google and Nvidia Join AI Alliance to Unlock Power Grid Capacity

Google, Nvidia, and Anthropic have joined a newly launched coalition called the AI Energy Management Alliance, working alongside software startup Emerald AI and major energy utilities. The group is promoting "grid-flexible" data centres designed to dynamically reduce or shift power draw during peak grid stress.
